Assistant Editor Summer Internship

Thank you for your interest in working with one of Boston’s leading wedding film studios! Currently we are in search of a summer intern to perform a variety of tasks and assist with post-production workflow. If you are in need of school credit, we will happily provide any and all documentation necessary to secure credits. This part-time internship is paid, and is intended for those in hopes of getting up close, hands-on experience with a smaller boutique-style production company.

Duties //
Assist with post-production backup and organization workflows
Perform basic post-production tasks as assigned for digital video projects
Capture, sync, & organize footage from multi-cam live event productions
Carefully carry out studio’s quality-assurance processes for all projects
Basic writing and blogging tasks

Qualifications //
Extremely strong written & verbal communication skills a must
High level of experience working with Mac OS
Familiarity with either Adobe Creative Suite or Final Cut Pro 7
Must be punctual

Requirements //
At least 12-15 hours per week at our shared studio space in Fort Point in downtown Boston
An eagerness to learn & absorb different processes in regards to how our studio functions
Openness to performing occasional odd jobs in order to help operations run smoothly
Official start date is the week of May 15th, 2017
Official end date is TBD, flexible upon your schedule
